How the Visual Level Indicator Works

The WEKA Visual Level Indicator provides a clear and easily viewed indication of liquid levels. Designed as a remote visual indicator, it is typically mounted externally to a tank in a custom configuration.

The system operates using a magnetic float housed inside a bypass tube (chamber) that rises and falls in synchronisation with the liquid level in the main tank.

Key Technical Features:

  • Magnetic Coupling: The float contains a specialised magnet configuration. These magnetic lines of force interact with external flaps that have tiny directional magnets inserted inside.
  • Bi-Colour Indication: The indication rails feature a red and white colour scheme, representing the liquid and air levels respectively.
  • Remote Safety: Because the indication rails are kept separate from the liquid, there is no risk of leakage, even if the rail housing is damaged.
  • Durability: The system is engineered to withstand extreme temperatures, high pressures, high viscosity, and strongly corrosive environments.
