How do liquid level indicators work?

The visual indication operates absolutely energy-free and simply follows the principle of communicating vessels. Independent from the process controller, a WEKA Magnetic Level Indicator provides an on-the-spot visual readout even during system failure or mains power loss. Visual level indicators are preferred where it is not possible to install an indicator outside.

Indicator Flaps and SS Floats

  • Stability: Bar Magnets in indicator flaps interlock with each other and maintain stability, even when large disturbances and shocks are applied to the indicator.
  • Visibility: A visible event from 100Mtr away.
  • Weight: Weka Bar magnets in floats make the float very light.
  • Design: A smaller float is a big advantage.
  • Sedimentation: Distance between float wall and tube wall is high - no problem with sedimentation.
  • Customisation: Floats are custom-made according to fluid density.
  • Longevity: Weka uses AlNico Magnet (after 10 years, the magnet can be re-magnetised and reused).
