How to choose an oval wheel meter

System with oil-atomiser burner with one meter:
This is a simple system with only one meter in the suction pipe. This system has an oil-atomiser burner. The fuel oil that is not consumed is fed again into the oil-feed pipe of the meter. The good thing about this system is that the fuel that is recirculated is not metered again.
System with oil-atomiser burner with two meters:
This system has an oil-atomiser burner, and the fuel is pumped through the strainer, meter and pre-heater to the burner. The oil that is not consumed gets collected in the oil tank. The meter measures the collected oil. The accurate actual oil consumption is the difference between the meter registration in the feed pipe and the meter registration in the return pipe. In this system, two meters are required. To get the actual consumption, one has to calculate the difference between the readings of two meters.
