Case Study: Batching System for Mixing Liquids in Perfume/Essential Oil Manufacturing Plant

Fragrance & Essential Oil Manufacturer Process Application

Perfect mixing of precise liquid volumes plays a critical role in perfume and essential oil manufacturing.

The customer required a solution to preset the volume of water and alcohol to be added to the mixing vessel.

Toshniwal Solution:

Our engineer visited the customer’s site and proposed an innovative solution by providing a Positive Displacement Meter integrated with a batching system.

A batching system is a production process in which operations occur in sequential steps through discrete batches. In this setup, both liquids (water and alcohol) are measured using a single meter, as they have similar viscosity.

Product Information:

Meter Configuration:

  • OV10 AG50 F131/F5 Strainer
  • 25 mm single-stage solenoid valve
  • Power Pack Unit

Key Advantages:

  • Direct volumetric measurement
  • Competitive pricing compared to mass flow meters
  • Maintenance-free operation
  • High batching accuracy
  • High solidity
  • No requirement for straight pipe length

Conclusion:

The customer is highly satisfied with the solution provided and has been successfully utilizing it for the past 5 years.

This project reflects Toshniwal’s methodology of combining decades of experience with reliable solutions that build long-term client relationships.
