Temperature Transmitters

A temperature transmitter converts the small electrical signal from a temperature sensor, RTD or thermocouple, into a robust, standardised output suitable for plant control systems. Our transmitters perform signal isolation, amplification, linearisation, and noise filtering in a single compact device, delivering a reliable 4–20 mA or digital signal over long cable runs without drift or interference.

Key Specifications

  • Input types: RTD (Pt100, Pt500, Pt1000), thermocouple (all standard types), resistance (Ohm), and bipolar mV
  • Output: 4–20 mA (2-wire loop-powered), HART 7 / HART 5, PROFIBUS PA, FOUNDATION Fieldbus
  • Accuracy: better than 0.1% of span on selected models
  • Single and true dual sensor inputs — independent measurement of two sensors on one transmitter
  • Housing options: DIN rail (6.1 mm slimline), sensor head mounting (DIN Form B), field-mounted (aluminium / stainless steel)
  • Galvanic isolation between input, output, and supply on isolated models
  • ATEX / IECEx certified models for Zone 0, 1, 2 hazardous gas and dust areas
  • HART transparent repeater and bidirectional HART communication for remote configuration and diagnostics
  • Operating temperature: –40°C to +85°C (electronics), process temperatures per connected sensor type
