Oval Gear Meter

The measurement element of this positive displacement oval gear meters consists of two precision oval gears. The revolution can be sensed by a magnetic-field-controlled pulse generator, resulting in only two moving parts i.e “oval-wheels”. These oval gear meters can be used for application of nearly all operating condition.

  • Low and extreme high viscosities

Turbine Flow Meter
Turbine meters are indirect volumetric meters. The revolutions of the turbine wheel in these turbine flow meters are proportional to the volume passing through the meter. Turbine flow meters are suitable for measurement of-
  • Low viscosity liquids (e.g. L.P.G)
  • Mineral oil products
  • Crude oil with high viscosity

Vortex Meter
Vortex Meter
Vortex meters are using the physical phenomenon of “vortex shedding”, the number of vortices generated is proportional to the flow. These vortex flow meters relatively insensitive to pipe vibrations, pulsation, temperature shocks.

Vortex meters also suitable for steam flow rate measurements

Measuring range : up to 20,000 m3/h (Gas/ Steam) 2500m3/hr for liquids.
Temperature : 200 to 4500 C

Density Meter
The fluid to be measured passes through the oscillating element. Excited electro-magnetically, it will oscillate with its natural frequency. The frequency will be picked up by the transmitter and converted into a signal proportional to density or concentration.

Measuring principle is by the rate of flow measurement by the differential pressure method. It is basically calculated by the use of Bernoulli equation. The differential pressure is a measure of flow rate.

Clamp-on Ultrasonic Meter
The transit time flow meter measures flow rate by calculating the spreading time of an ultrasonic wave in a liquid going upstream and downstream of a pipe. For ultrasonic flow meter it is not necessary to stop the flow to install them.
